Job summary
CHOR Youth & Family Services in Reading, PA, is seeking a Bachelor’s level Milieu Supervisor for our new Residential Enhanced Level of Care Program for male adolescents. This full-time position requires flexibility to work all shifts and at least two weekends per month. Looking for candidates with strong supervisory skills and a relevant degree. The role includes ensuring unit efficiency, participating in a supervisory rotation, and providing support to both staff and clients. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401k, and generous PTO.
Qualifications
Valid Driver's License and clean driving record highly preferred.
Must pass all pre-employment physical & drug screening including background clearances.
Ability to attend all required trainings prior to working on the unit.
Responsibilities
Ensure efficient functioning of unit including staff supervision and daily scheduling.
Participate in weekend supervisory rotation schedule and work overtime as required.
Work collaboratively with other staff to develop positive working relationships.
Skills
Strong supervisory skills in residential programming
Basic oral, written, and verbal communication
Ability to work effectively among various levels of behaviors
Education
Bachelor's Degree in social work, criminal justice, psychology, or Human Services
Associate's degree with at least 1 year experience working with youth
