Job summary

Sheppard Pratt in Belcamp, MD, seeks a Residential Counselor Assistant for weekend shifts (Sat/Sun, 1pm-9pm) to support residents in housing, health services, and community living. Pay is $17.50/hour with opportunities for training and career growth.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team to promote safety, independence, and well-being, including transportation, advocacy, and coordination of services for clients in recovery.

Qualifications

• Assist in providing a safe, therapeutic environment for clients.
• Support independent living and socialization skills.
• Maintain medication safety and proper dosing when applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients to learn or regain skills for independent living and socialization.
• Assist in ensuring medication compliance with safety and cleanliness.
• Collaborate with a service team to implement individual service plans.
• Provide transportation and attend medical appointments with advocacy and follow-up notes.
