Job summary

The Colorado Department of Human Services (CDHS) seeks compassionate Residential Care Workers to provide direct client care in 24/7 living settings. You will help with daily living activities, monitor safety, document care, and support development of social and life skills.

This full-time, in-person role requires QMAP certification (or willingness to obtain), holds shifts including evenings and weekends, and may involve transportation duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of experience in assisted living, nursing home, home health, or residential behavioral health.
• QMAP certification preferred; substitutions allowed per policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct client care and assist with activities of daily living.
• Monitor client safety and maintain proper documentation.
• Support development of social and life skills through activities and supervision.
• Transport clients when needed and ensure safety during travel.
