Job summary

Rocky Mountain Assisted Living is seeking a dedicated QMAP/Caregiver to provide compassionate daily care to residents in our Colorado homes. You will work under the supervision of the House Manager, Wellness Director, and Resident Care Coordinator, following care plans and policies.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily activities, administering medications as required by state regulations, documenting care and observations, and promoting resident rights and safety on each shift.

Qualifications

• Must have a sympathetic attitude toward the care of the elderly.
• Ability to read, write and speak fluently in English.
• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year experience providing care to the elderly or persons with disabilities.
• Ability to safely lift up to 30 pounds.
• Basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Assists residents with activities of daily living in accordance with care plans and RMAL policies.
• Understands, adheres to, and promotes RMAL policies and procedures and Resident Rights.
• Administers routine and PRN medications per Colorado State Health Department regulations and RMAL policies.
• Communicates changes in resident condition with the house manager and care teams.
• Follows activities calendar, prepares and conducts at least one activity per shift.
• Documents in 24-hour log, activity log, and MAR before leaving each shift.
