Job summary

Comprehensive Life Resources in Tacoma, WA is seeking a qualified Medication Technician to join our team on a per diem, on-call basis at Park Place, Tacoma. This role focuses on monitoring residents’ self-administration of medications and coordinating with the medical team to ensure timely ordering and filling of meds.

You will document all medication monitoring in MAR/EHR, support 24/7 nursing coverage, and provide activities to enhance residents’ self-care and independence.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, written, and verbal communications skills.
• Ability to prioritize deadlines, work independently, take initiative, and maintain confidentiality.
• If role requires driving, must have valid driver’s license, proof of insurance and working vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Monitor Park Place residents’ self‑administration of medications.
• Facilitate continuity of care.
• Document all medication monitoring and self‑medications in MAR/EHR, including progress notes as needed.
• Coordinate with the medical team to ensure medications are ordered and filled.
• Provide services and activities for residential clients that enhance self‑care skills, independence, social skills, and self‑reliance.
• Participate in meetings and activities as required.
• Work a schedule as needed to support 24/7 nursing services
• In addition to the above, perform other duties as assigned within scope of practice.
