Job summary

Maybelle Center in Portland, OR is seeking a dedicated Medication Technician (MT) to assist with administering or guiding residents in self-administration of meds under RN delegation. The MT will document in the MAR, monitor for side effects, and address safety risks in a respectful, trauma-informed environment.

This full-time, on-site position requires collaborating with the interdisciplinary team and adhering to Oregon rules and community policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Certified Medication Aide preferred.
• First Aid & CPR preferred.
• Onsite medication delegation and taught tasks required.

Responsibilities

• Administer or assist residents with medications under RN delegation.
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration.
• Document medication administration in MAR and related records.
• Monitor for side effects and safety risks; report changes to RN/LPN.
