Job summary

NYSARC, Inc in Slingerlands is seeking a full-time Residential Manager to oversee one or two residential group homes in Albany County. You will be responsible for ensuring operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and the well-being of adults with developmental disabilities.

The role comes with a structured work schedule of 40 hours a week, from Monday to Friday, and offers a starting hourly rate of $24.00. Candidates with a high school diploma and 5 years of supervisory experience or equivalent qualifications are encouraged to apply.

Position Overview

WWAARC has multiple Residential Manager positions available throughout Albany County. The Residential Manager will manage one or two residential group homes located in Albany County. If responsible for two homes, the base rate will increase. The position is full‑time, 40 hours per week, Monday‑Friday, and is an hourly non‑exempt role with a rate of $24.00 per hour. The manager ensures the residential group home operates efficiently and effectively while maintaining regulatory compliance and overseeing the overall well‑being of adults with developmental disabilities whose homes are managed. Oversight includes all physical aspects of the home, maintaining a welcoming environment, and meeting everyday needs such as medical, recreation, and socialization.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver’s license meeting WWAARC insurability standards.
• High School Diploma or equivalent with 5 years of supervisory experience; Associate’s Degree with 3 years of supervisory experience; or Bachelor’s Degree with 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Complete and maintain all certifications and trainings required by WWAARC, including but not limited to Medication Administration, First Aid & CPR, Mindful Driving, and SCIP‑R.
• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding people supported and agency information.
• Work independently and manage multiple priorities.
