Job summary

Fairfield Property Management is seeking an Assistant Maintenance Technician to join our team. You will restore vacated apartments to market-ready condition on schedule while assisting with interior and exterior upkeep of our properties.

You will perform basic plumbing and electrical tasks, install appliances, handle minor drywall repairs, and help maintain yards and common areas. A valid driver's license and willingness to work an on-call schedule are required.

Qualifications

• Six months of professional maintenance experience on a residential property preferred.
• HVAC knowledge and pool maintenance strongly preferred.
• Basic electrical and plumbing knowledge.
• Ability to work on-call shifts and have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vacated apartments and complete make-ready checklists.
• Perform make-ready tasks including plumbing, electrical, drywall, and appliance installations.
• Inspect and repair light fixtures, windows, and doors; maintain grounds and remove debris.
• Conduct pool maintenance and ensure safety and cleanliness of common areas.
• Follow Fairfield Property Management policies and maintain inventory of tools and supplies.
