Job summary

Fairfield Property Management is seeking an Assistant Maintenance Technician to ensure vacated apartments are restored to market-ready condition on schedule and to assist with general interior and exterior maintenance tasks for our properties in Louisiana. The role involves inspecting units, performing plumbing, electrical, drywall work, and installing appliances.

You will help with pool maintenance, grounds upkeep, and permanent inventory of tools and supplies while following company safety

Qualifications

• Minimum of six months of professional maintenance experience.
• HVAC and pool maintenance knowledge preferred.
• Basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems.
• Ability to work on-call schedule.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Inspects vacated apartments and completes make-ready checklist.
• Handles general maintenance needs including plumbing, electrical, drywall, locks, and lighting.
• Installs appliances such as stoves, refrigerators, washers/dryers, toilets, sinks, and caulking.
• Replaces light bulbs and fixtures throughout units and exterior areas.
• Maintains grounds by removing trash and debris and performing pool maintenance.
