Job summary

Holladay Property Services Mid West Inc is seeking a Residential Maintenance Technician to maintain the physical integrity of an apartment community in Nashville. You will ensure a safe, secure, and comfortable living environment while following OSHA and other regulations.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and related systems, safety checks, and coordinating make-ready repairs.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Able to read and follow instructions, warnings and procedures.
• Able to effectively communicate orally and in writing.
• Must be available to work evenings and weekends.
• Must follow company procedures for key control.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Able to inspect rooftops and perform routine maintenance and repairs.
• Professional appearance required.
• Must be able to operate a cell phone and computer for communications.

Responsibilities

• Maintain physical integrity of the apartment community while following safety policies.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
• Inspect and maintain tools and respond to safety hazards throughout the property.
• Coordinate make-ready repairs and assist other staff to meet timelines.
• Assist with snow removal, landscaping, and irrigation as needed.
• On-call 24 hours for snow events and other emergencies as assigned.
