Job summary

Waypoint Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support a luxury residential community in Saint Augustine, FL. You will maintain safety, appearance, and functionality of buildings, grounds, and shared spaces, delivering prompt, high-quality service to residents.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, inspections, repairs, and managing vendor work when needed. On-call shifts, safety policies, and OSHA guidelines apply. Competitive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; maintenance experience preferred.
• EPA Section 608 Type I and II Certification required.
• CPO Certification preferred.
• Working knowledge of building systems, tools, and safety practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service requests and complete repairs per company standards, safety guidelines, and codes.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, mechanical equipment, and building components.
• Prepare vacant apartment homes for new residents including inspections and coordinating repairs.
• Maintain records of completed work, service requests, and materials used.
• Monitor maintenance inventory and notify leadership when reorders are needed.
• Perform plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliance repair, and general maintenance tasks.
• Maintain community amenities and complete required inspections and chemical readings.
• Support upkeep of grounds and common areas through cleaning and painting tasks.
• Provide on-call emergency maintenance support as scheduled.
