We are seeking a dependable and hands-on Maintenance Technician to support the day-to-day upkeep and overall appearance of the property. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, notices issues before they become larger problems, enjoys working outdoors, and is comfortable handling a variety of general maintenance and improvement projects.
The Maintenance Technician will work closely with the Community Association Manager and property management team to help ensure the community remains clean, safe, attractive, and well maintained for residents and guests.
The ideal candidate is someone who is hands-on, observant, dependable, and takes ownership of the condition of the property. You should be comfortable working independently, recognizing things that need attention without always being directed to them, and communicating concerns to management before they become larger issues.
Strong customer service skills are also important, as this position interacts with residents and works closely with the onsite Community Association Manager.
This position requires the ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and work both indoors and outdoors in Florida heat, humidity, and varying weather conditions.The Maintenance Technician should be comfortable standing and walking for extended periods, as well as bending, kneeling, reaching, and climbing as necessary to perform maintenance duties.Occasional weekend, holiday, or after-hours work may be required for emergencies, severe weather, or special community needs.
Success in this role means the property is consistently well maintained, issues are identified and addressed proactively, residents receive timely responses to maintenance requests, and the community remains safe and in good working order.The successful candidate will communicate proactively with the CAM, follow established procedures, work well with vendors and stakeholders, and take pride in the overall appearance and condition of the property.
