Job summary

WSH Management, Inc. is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician for a 101-unit residential property in Milpitas, CA. The role focuses roughly 80% on maintenance and 20% on porter/grounds duties, including electrical and plumbing repairs, carpentry, and appliance troubleshooting.

The position reports to the Property Manager and works closely with the on-site team. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k), paid vacation, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (or equivalent) required.
• Proven working experience in electrical, plumbing, appliance repairs, etc.
• On-call and weekend service experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect property and equipment daily to determine service needs and personnel requirements.
• Respond to service requests in order, document work performed and parts used.
• Implement and supervise Preventative Maintenance program.
• Perform HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance repairs as needed.
• Assist with apartment turnovers, inspections and vendor bids when required.
• Coordinate with management on safety, security and cost reporting.
