Qualifications

• Must be able to operate various hand tools effectively.
• Must understand and follow detailed instructions provided orally or in writing.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing, and electrical work is required.
• Previous experience in property maintenance or handyman work is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily repair and maintenance tasks on the property.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment necessary for maintenance.
• Ensure all tools required for job are readily available.
• Report any unusual occurrences regarding the property to management.
• Maintain appearance by following uniform policy.
• Adhere strictly to OSHA and safety policies.
• Be on-call to handle maintenance emergencies as needed.
• Secure the maintenance shop at the end of each workday.
• Remove snow and ice from the property as required.
• Handle lockouts due to evictions and respond promptly to service requests.

Skills

Ability to operate various hand tools including power tools

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions
