Prospect Property Management & Maintenance in Allentown, PA is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician to perform day-to-day upkeep across residential properties, handle repairs, and keep units safe and rent-ready. The role covers plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, drywall, painting and other trades, with travel between properties and a focus on responsive, hands-on problem solving.

Qualifications

Hands-on maintenance experience in residential, property, facilities, or multifamily environments.
Experience across multiple trades: plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, drywall, painting, general repairs.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple maintenance requests.
Professional communication with residents, vendors, and team.

Responsibilities

Respond to and complete maintenance work orders.
Perform general residential repairs and upkeep.
Troubleshoot and make minor repairs across trades (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, drywall, painting).
Complete apartment turnovers and ensure units are rent-ready.
Document completed work and update work orders in AppFolio or similar system.
Communicate professionally with residents, vendors, and internal team.
Travel locally between properties throughout the Allentown area.
