Job summary

Acme Residential seeks a Service Technician in Michigan to maintain apartments, complete turnovers, and handle repairs across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliances. You will perform preventative maintenance, inspect units, and support safety and habitability requirements.

You will work closely with the Service Manager and Community Director to ensure move-in readiness, timely responses to work requests, and professional communication with residents and vendors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of property maintenance experience preferred.
• HVAC, boiler, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and use ladders and stairs.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident maintenance work orders promptly with quality workmanship.
• Assist with apartment turnovers including painting, cleaning, and appliance checks.
• Perform repairs on HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems and fixtures.
• Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance on apartments, grounds, and common areas.
• Maintain pools (where applicable) and respond to after-hours emergencies as needed.
