Job summary

Acme Residential Group is seeking a Cleaner in Melvindale, MI to maintain the cleanliness of apartment homes and community areas. You’ll ensure vacant units are move-in ready, keep common areas pristine, and support the maintenance and property management teams with pride and professionalism.

You will perform cleaning and light maintenance duties, assist with grounds care, and participate in seasonal exterior tasks.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of cleaning, custodial, or property maintenance experience.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and time-management skills.
• Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize fixtures, appliances, cabinets, windows, bathrooms, and flooring in vacant apartments.
• Steam clean carpets and wash/mop vinyl or tile floors.
• Report maintenance or mechanical issues to the Service Manager.
• Assist with light maintenance tasks and upkeep of community buildings.
• Maintain grounds, including trash removal and outdoor cleanliness.
• Perform snow removal and other seasonal exterior duties as needed.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by the Community Director or Service Manager.
