About The Role

The Maintenance Technician maintains the physical condition of the community and provides world-class service to residents. Responsibilities include diagnosing maintenance issues, making repairs, and completing resident service requests promptly. Eligible for a $500 net sign-on bonus paid in the first paycheck.

Maintenance Technician Job Family

This family provides a structure around maintenance roles, with levels from Trainee to Level III, supporting growth and development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee assets, supervise technicians, and coordinate maintenance activities.
  • Ensure safety and environmental policies are followed.
  • Deliver high resident satisfaction through professional interactions.
  • Work on a rotating on-call schedule for 24/7 coverage.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum 7 years of maintenance experience or 4 years with EPA 608 Universal certification
  • Designations or licenses in HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Appliance Repair, or Carpentry preferred
  • Strong customer service and technical skills
  • Ability to diagnose and repair issues, perform quality control, and train others
  • Valid driver’s license with a safe record

Physical Demands & Work Conditions

Regular use of hands, standing, climbing, and lifting up to 75 lbs. Work performed inside and outside, interacting with residents and staff.
