Job summary

Fairfield is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to ensure the smooth operation of our residential community. You will perform daily maintenance tasks, diagnose and repair electrical, plumbing, and appliance issues, and prepare vacant apartments for new residents.

You will participate in the emergency on-call rotation, contributing to safety and overall property appeal. Ideal candidates have at least one year of property maintenance experience, are fluent in English, and can work a flexible

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum one year of maintenance experience in property management.
• Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Experience with plumbing, electrical, and appliance repairs.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily maintenance and repairs in electrical, plumbing, and appliances.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests.
• Prepare vacant apartments for new residents using the Make Ready Checklist.
• Maintain the exterior of the property and pool areas.
• Communicate with vendors and contractors and report inventory needs.
