Job summary

Sterling Asset Management Corporation (SAMC) is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support Winters community operations. You will execute preventative maintenance, repair HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, and appliances, and assist with make-ready processes to ensure timely leasing of units.

The role emphasizes safety, the ability to follow diagrams and manufacturer instructions, and effective communication with residents and contractors.

Qualifications

• 3 years of facility maintenance experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Experience with HVAC, electrical, plumbing and appliance repair.

Responsibilities

• Perform HVAC, electrical, plumbing and appliance repairs.
• Complete preventative maintenance programs.
• Maintain and turnover apartments promptly.
• Record, track, and complete work orders in Yardi.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests.
• Coordinate with third-party contractors/vendors.
• Ensure safety compliance and OSHA standards.
