Job summary

NewCastle Management Group is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to provide ongoing facility maintenance for a Class A property. The role involves fixing machinery, plumbing, HVAC and electrical issues to keep residents safe and comfortable.

Ideal candidates have 2 years of apartment maintenance experience, are willing to obtain HVAC and CPO certifications within six months, and demonstrate strong customer service and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• HVAC and CPO Certification required or willing to obtain within first 6 months of employment.
• Availability for after-hours and on-call emergencies (rotation).
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
• 2+ years of maintenance experience in a residential community preferred.

Responsibilities

• Completion of apartment work orders and turnovers.
• General carpentry and repair including drywall, countertops, cabinets, tile.
• Maintain and repair appliances, plumbing, minor HVAC and electrical work.
• Assist in maintenance and upkeep of communal areas, buildings and pool.
• Complete preventative maintenance to ensure everything is in working order.
• Provide exceptional customer service to residents and clients.
• Monitors and organizes inventory and supplies.
• Power washing and snow removal at the property as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
