Job summary

NewCastle Management Group is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support a Class A multifamily property. The role covers ongoing facility maintenance, repairs, and upgrades to ensure safety, comfort, and resident satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in residential maintenance, is willing to pursue HVAC and CPO certifications, and will perform a range of trades from plumbing to electrical work. Strong customer service and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and problem solving abilities are required.
• General apartment maintenance experience is needed for plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair.
• HVAC and CPO certification must be obtained within the first 6 months or prior to employment where possible.

Responsibilities

• Complete apartment work orders and turnovers.
• Perform carpentry tasks including wallboard repair, cabinet replacement, and tile repair.
• Repair appliances, plumbing, minor HVAC issues, and electrical work.
• Maintain communal areas, buildings, and pool; perform preventive maintenance.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents and coordinate with property team.
• Monitor inventory and supplies; assist in delivering materials as needed.
• Power wash and perform snow removal as required.
