Job summary

FRED is seeking a Maintenance Technician for The Arbor Lakes Apartments to address a variety of residential service requests and keep units market-ready. You will perform repairs, assist in preventive maintenance, and coordinate with the Property Manager to resolve issues.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, the ability to multitask, and willingness to attend training and obtain additional certifications as needed. Monday–Friday schedule with on-call rotation offers growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
• Experience in maintenance or related field preferred, but not required.
• Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license with good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Address a diverse range of residential maintenance requests in a timely, professional manner.
• Prepare vacant apartments for occupancy by performing repairs to market-ready condition.
• Communicate unresolved maintenance issues to the Property Manager for resolution.
• Assist in preventive maintenance to reduce breakdowns and keep equipment running smoothly.
• Provide on-call emergency maintenance during rotation to support residents.
