Job summary

Arbour Valley Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform a variety of maintenance duties, prepare vacant apartments, and work with the team to uphold quality standards. You will respond to work orders, assist in preventative maintenance, and support groundskeeping and resident services, including on-call emergencies as needed.

The ideal candidate has experience with hand tools, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 100 lbs.

Qualifications

• Background screening and drug test required.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Ability to work all seven days as needed.
• Ability to work inside and outside in all weather; lift up to 100 lbs.
• Experience with common hand tools used in construction and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vacant apartments to market-ready condition.
• Pull and complete resident work orders promptly.
• Consult Maintenance Supervisor on problems before closing the work orders.
• Perform on-call emergency service as required.
• Report maintenance concerns for repairs on vacant, models, clubhouse, and common areas.
• Assist in monitoring maintenance inventory and supplies.
• Move heavy objects as requested.
• Assist in special maintenance projects and preventative maintenance.
• Keep grounds and common areas free of trash and debris.
• Communicate professionally with residents and management.
• Attend training seminars as requested.
• Assist in setting up for resident functions and activities.
