Job summary

Stellar Senior Living in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to support the Maintenance Director with daily community operations. The role includes light repairs, apartment preparation for new residents, and upkeep of outdoor spaces.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred or related maintenance experience.
• Ability to perform general maintenance repair needs and problem solve.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs and handle physical demands.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily maintenance tasks including replacing light bulbs and repairing electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and appliances.
• Prepare resident apartments for new occupants by painting, cleaning carpets and general maintenance.
• Maintain grounds including mowing, trimming, and cleaning to keep the exterior presentable.
• Assist in coordinating community events and maintenance in resident areas.
• Support operations to ensure proper function of emergency systems and safety protocols.
