Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform technical and mechanical work ensuring buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet safety and quality standards. You will diagnose defects, complete work orders, and perform make-ready tasks to prepare units for leasing and new move-ins.

The role involves following safety procedures, maintaining equipment, tracking supplies, and supporting grounds and common areas maintenance.

Qualifications

• Experience in property maintenance is a plus.
• Ability to diagnose and repair building systems.
• Familiarity with safety standards and OSHA guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance.
• Perform make-ready tasks to prepare vacant units for leasing and move-ins.
• Track inventory and coordinate with maintenance staff to obtain supplies and materials.
• Document service requests accurately and timely.
• Assist in maintaining grounds and common areas and perform painting and cleaning tasks as needed.
