Job summary

Centennial Manor in Boise, ID, operated by RHF Management, Inc., seeks a dependable Maintenance/Janitorial Team Member to keep buildings, common areas, and grounds clean and functional. You will handle daily upkeep, respond to service requests, assist with turnovers, and support preventative maintenance programs.

The ideal candidate is organized, service-oriented, and capable of handling safety standards and resident communications. Experience with maintenance software is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in the maintenance field.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals.
• Skilled in using hand and power tools for repair and maintenance tasks.
• Must be able to frequently lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Basic leadership and teamwork abilities; strong problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with RealPage Maintenance Facilities software.
• Basic English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain interior and exterior appearance of buildings and property through daily janitorial duties.
• Complete unit turnovers within 3 days of move-out when needed.
• Perform painting and preventative maintenance tasks according to schedule.
• Assist with apartment and systems inspections as required.
• Respond to work orders, prioritize by urgency, and log details.
• Address maintenance emergencies, including after-hours, weekends, and holidays.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues.
• Coordinate with vendors and monitor landscape contractor for quality work.
• Keep maintenance shop organized and ensure safety and compliance.
