Job summary

Erickson Senior Living’s Devonshire campus in Palm Beach Gardens, FL is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to upkeep residential apartments and public areas. You will respond to work orders, perform routine and emergency repairs, including electrical, plumbing, lighting and HVAC tasks, and support resident well-being.

The position offers a schedule Wednesday–Friday 9:00–5:30 and weekend shifts 8:00–4:30 with Monday/Tuesday off, pay $20–$23 per hour, and benefits including health coverage, 401k, PTO,

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience in residential or commercial settings.
Working knowledge of residential building maintenance including plumbing and electrical.
HVAC knowledge with preventive maintenance and emergency response.
Ability to communicate effectively with residents and staff.
Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Provide prompt responses to resident maintenance work orders.
Perform routine and emergency repairs in apartments and public areas (electrical, plumbing, lighting).
Maintain HVAC equipment with preventive maintenance and on-call responses.
