Job summary

Devonshire by Erickson Senior Living is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to upkeep residential apartments and public areas on our campus. You’ll respond to resident work orders, perform routine and emergency repairs, and maintain HVAC systems.

The position offers a Wednesday–Friday 9:00 AM–5:30 PM and weekend shifts, with Monday and Tuesday off. Compensation ranges from $20.00–$22.00 per hour, commensurate with experience, plus benefits and 401k.

Qualifications

• Experience in building maintenance or similar role.
• Ability to perform electrical, plumbing and HVAC tasks.
• Able to pass a Level 2 background screening as required by AHCA.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt responses to residents' maintenance work orders.
• Contribute to General Services’ team visibility and problem solving.
• Perform routine and emergency repairs in apartments and public areas.
• Maintain HVAC equipment and respond to urgent calls.

Join our team as a Maintenance Mechanic, where you’ll be responsible for the upkeep of residential apartments and public areas on our beautiful campus. Your work will make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents, ensuring they have a comfortable and safe place to call home.

Working: Wednesday thru Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM

Saturday and Sunday, 8AM to 4:30 PM

Days Off: Monday & Tuesday.

How You Will Make An Impact

• Provide prompt responses to resident’s maintenance work orders
• Contribute to the General Services’ team visibility and reputation for problem solving and enhancing the resident living experience
• Perform routine and emergency repairs in residential apartments and community public areas, including electrical malfunctions, repair/replace plumbing and lighting fixtures, and other maintenance needs that arise
• Perform necessary maintenance of HVAC equipment, including scheduled preventive maintenance and responding to emergency calls
