Housing Trust Group, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform day-to-day maintenance and repairs at assigned communities in Florida. The role handles service requests, make-ready work, groundskeeping, preventive maintenance, and emergencies, coordinating with the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager for priorities.

The position requires hands-on troubleshooting, timely documentation, safe work practices, and professional communication with residents and coworkers.

Formación

• At least 1 year of maintenance experience in multifamily housing or related setting.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and general building maintenance.
• Ability to read maintenance instructions, equipment manuals, and safety procedures.
• Strong troubleshooting, attention to detail, communication, and resident service skills.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsabilidades

• Respond to service requests, prioritize urgent needs, and complete routine work orders within 24 hours when feasible.
• Troubleshoot and perform routine plumbing repairs (sinks, showers, faucets, toilets).
• Replace or repair light fixtures, switches, outlets, and electrical components.
• Perform basic HVAC troubleshooting and maintenance, including filter replacement.
• Repair or replace appliances and complete basic carpentry/building repairs (doors, cabinets, walls, fences, exteriors).
• Record work performed and inform Maintenance Supervisor of follow up needs.
• Assist with vacant unit inspections, make ready work, and groundskeeping.
• Perform custodial tasks and general cleaning when needed; assist with minor pool maintenance.
• Participate in rotating after-hours emergency maintenance; respond within required timeframes.
• Assist with hurricane and severe weather readiness; follow post-storm directives.
• Operate and care for tools and equipment; follow safety procedures.
