Encore at Parkside is seeking a Maintenance Tech to handle on-site upkeep of residential apartments and common areas. The role requires plumbing and electrical skills, with HVAC knowledge a plus, and involves responding to emergencies and completing work orders efficiently.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of maintenance experience, high school diploma or GED, and the ability to work with residents and staff under supervision. On-site role with possible overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Must possess a working knowledge of residential building maintenance including plumbing, electrical, flooring and appliances.
• Must have knowledge of HVAC.
• Able to effectively communicate with residents and staff; work under general supervision.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and emergency repairs in residential apartments and public areas including electrical, plumbing, lighting and doors.
• Assists in troubleshooting and basic repairs for residential HVAC equipment.
• Responds to emergency calls for system or equipment failure.
• Completes work orders with detailed information about tasks and equipment.
• Assists other maintenance personnel on various projects and campus snow removal.
• Maintains proper levels of materials and supplies for on-site tasks.
• Occasionally works scheduled and on-call overtime as needed.
• Fulfills supervisor and director requests to ensure efficient community operation.
• Maintains dependability and punctuality per attendance policy.
