Job summary

Encore at Parkside is seeking a Full-Time Maintenance Tech to handle on-site upkeep of residential apartments and common areas. The role requires skills in plumbing and electrical work, plus basic HVAC knowledge, with a focus on responsive, accurate maintenance.

The Maintenance Tech is part of a team responsible for the physical condition of all buildings on site, including completing work orders and assisting other maintenance staff as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• 1–2 years of maintenance experience in residential or commercial settings.
• HVAC or Electrical certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and emergency repairs in apartments and public areas.
• Repair and replace plumbing fixtures, pipes, fittings, light bulbs, doors, and locks.
• Assist in HVAC system maintenance and simple repairs.
• Respond to emergency calls for systems and equipment failures.
• Process work orders with detailed task and equipment notes.
• Support campus snow removal and supply inventory management.
