Job summary

Macapartments in St. Louis is seeking a Maintenance Tech (or Service Tech II) to join our team. You will ensure building appliances and infrastructure are functioning at peak efficiency and contribute to transforming residents' lives daily.

This is a full-time role with benefits, requiring an on-call rotation every couple of weeks. Duties include completing service requests, performing HVAC, electrical and plumbing repairs, making apartments move-ready, and maintaining building grounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle for this position.
• Provide own basic tools and knowledge of safe use.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned service requests and repairs in a timely, professional and courteous manner.
• Diagnose and perform installation, preventive maintenance and/or repair of residential buildings and units including electrical and plumbing work.
• Perform preventive maintenance on building mechanical equipment and inspect/replace parts as needed.
• Install wiring and electrical components; repair refrigeration equipment.
• Restore apartments to market-ready status and oversee vendors.
• Maintain building exteriors and grounds, including snow removal when required.
