Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician in Pleasant Hill, CA to perform maintenance and ensure the physical aspects of the buildings meet safety and quality standards. The role involves handling routine work orders, preventative maintenance, and make-ready tasks for new residents.

You will diagnose issues, coordinate with vendors, document work, and support grounds and common areas while enjoying housing discounts and eligible bonuses.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of maintenance or facilities experience.
• EPA refrigerant certification (Type 1 & II or Universal) required.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders and preventative maintenance per policies and safety rules.
• Execute make-ready tasks to prepare units for leasing, including inspections and scheduling.
• Access and manage materials, track inventory, and notify supervisor on re-orders.
• Document work performed accurately to support service-tracking.
• Maintain grounds and common areas, including cleaning and painting as needed.
• Assist in cost-saving by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible.

Education

EPA Type 1 & II or Universal refrigerant certification
