Related Affordable is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to keep our buildings and grounds safe, functional, and inviting. You’ll tackle plumbing, electrical, HVAC and carpentry tasks while upholding high standards for quality and safety in our residential properties.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in general maintenance or related field.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and electrical systems.
• Able to participate in the emergency on‑call rotation as needed.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
• Dedicated to exceeding expectations by providing exceptional service.
• Teamwork and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Complete service requests in a timely manner and interact with residents to ensure their needs are met.
• Prepare vacant units to occupancy standards within established time frames
• Inspect property mechanical systems and grounds, addressing safety issues immediately with management.
• Conduct routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs.
• Perform cleaning and upkeep of common areas and grounds.
• Assist in emergency repairs as directed by supervisors and rotate on‑call for emergency maintenance.
• Maintain an inventory of maintenance supplies and report any shortages.
• Conduct routine preventative maintenance activities in partnership with the supervisor.
• Other duties as assigned.
