Job summary

Maymont Homes, part of Brookfield, is hiring a Maintenance Technician to perform repairs, renovations, and ongoing maintenance across a portfolio of single-family rental homes. You will ensure homes are safe, functional, and well-maintained for residents while supporting asset preservation and operational efficiency.

The role requires strong technical expertise, effective communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in alignment with company objectives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 3+ years of experience in residential maintenance or related field.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with mobile devices and work order systems.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative, corrective, deferred, and emergency maintenance across assigned properties.
• Diagnose and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and general home systems.
• Complete and document work orders using company-issued mobile devices.
• Coordinate with dispatch, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely service.
• Maintain inventory of tools and supplies needed for daily maintenance activities.
• Provide a high level of customer service as the primary field representative.
