Job summary

Management Services Corporation (MSC) seeks a Maintenance Technician for Roanoke apartment communities in VA. You will perform general maintenance across HVAC, plumbing, carpentry and electrical systems to keep properties in top shape and residents happy.

Typical hours are 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. with potential on-call; requires 1+ year apartment maintenance experience and the ability to obtain a CFC card or HVAC training. Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of apartment maintenance experience.
• Ability to obtain a CFC card or HVAC training.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical and carpentry systems.
• Maintain building systems to ensure resident satisfaction and safety.
• Complete required paperwork daily and communicate with supervisors.
• Use personal vehicle for parts pickup; on-call rotation as needed.
• Maintain clean, safe, and well-kept apartment communities.
