Job summary

Devonshire by Erickson Senior Living is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to upkeep residential apartments and campus public areas on our Palm Beach Gardens, FL campus. Work hours include Wed–Fri 9:00 AM–5:30 PM and Sat–Sun 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, with Mon–Tue off.

The role requires 2+ years of maintenance experience, HVAC knowledge, and the ability to work with residents and staff. AHCA Level 2 background screening is required for new hires.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience in residential or similar setting.
• Working knowledge of residential building maintenance (plumbing, electrical, flooring, appliances).
• HVAC experience required.
• Ability to communicate with residents and staff effectively.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident maintenance requests in a timely manner.
• Perform routine and emergency repairs in apartments and public areas.
• Maintain HVAC equipment with preventive maintenance and handle emergency calls.
• Ensure safety and quality in all maintenance tasks.
