Job summary

Maris Grove by Erickson Senior Living is seeking a Senior Maintenance Mechanic to troubleshoot and repair apartments and public areas. You will train staff on maintenance techniques, oversee the condition of your assigned neighborhood, and serve as a technical resource to ensure a safe, comfortable environment for residents.

The role requires at least five years in residential maintenance, with skills in HVAC, plumbing, electrical and appliance upkeep.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a residential apartment complex, construction, or commercial building maintenance.
• Working knowledge of residential building maintenance including plumbing, electrical, flooring and appliances.
• HVAC knowledge required.
• Overtime may be scheduled or on-call as necessary.
• EPA certification to handle refrigerants required.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance of HVAC equipment as assigned.
• Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance on designated equipment following manufacturer recommendations.
• Respond to emergencies for system or equipment failure.
• Lead the maintenance area and oversee the overall condition of assigned neighborhoods.
