Job summary

Cornerstone Residential is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance team at our properties in Vermont. This hands-on role oversees internal/external building upkeep, grounds, amenities, and common areas to meet safety, cleanliness, and functionality standards.

You will schedule tasks and supervise staff, coordinating with the Property Manager for maintaining high occupancy and service quality.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ general residential maintenance experience.
• Minimum 2-3 years' supervisory experience.
• HVAC Certification.
• Pool Certification.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire protection, and energy management systems.
• Certifications/licenses as required by local, state, or other regulations.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work on-call as scheduled and work weekends and after hours as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and schedule maintenance activities for the property and maintenance staff.
• Coordinate, schedule and respond to service requests; prioritize work orders.
• Repair/replace appliances, plumbing systems, AC/heating/electrical systems as needed.
• Develop and enforce maintenance schedules; preventative maintenance planning.
• Order supplies and manage the maintenance budget in coordination with the property manager.
• Manage property maintenance personnel and safety training; report incidents.
• Other duties as assigned.
