Related Affordable, a leader in affordable housing initiatives, seeks a hands-on Maintenance Technician to keep our buildings and grounds safe, functional, and inviting for residents. You will tackle plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry tasks while upholding quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of maintenance experience.
• Ability to respond to emergencies and on-call rotation.
• 2+ years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience with Real Page One Site or similar property management software preferred.
• Strong HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and electrical repairs.
• General knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Affordable housing experience preferred.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
• High school diploma or equivalent; certification in a related trade preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete service requests promptly and interact with residents to meet needs.
• Prepare vacant units to occupancy standards within set timeframes.
• Inspect mechanical systems and grounds; address safety issues with management.
• Perform routine plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs.
• Maintain/upkeep common areas and grounds.
• Assist in emergency repairs and on-call rotation.
• Maintain an inventory of maintenance supplies; report shortages.
• Conduct preventative maintenance with supervisor.
• Other duties as assigned.
