Job summary

Beacon Management is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for The Lakes in Southfield, MI. You will oversee routine and preventive maintenance, supervise staff, manage budgets, and ensure contract compliance to maintain resident satisfaction.

The role requires experience across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, locksmithing and strong Microsoft Office skills. A valid driver's license is required, with the position based at The Lakes in Southfield.

Qualifications

• Previous management experience that includes plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, locksmithing and staff supervision.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and perform all routine and preventive maintenance in order to maintain the physical integrity of the community.
• Supervise and train maintenance personnel, handle budget planning and monitor cost control to insure budget compliance.
• Research, recommend and hire maintenance contractors and vendors, as necessary, and oversee their work.
• Floating duties as assigned.
• Ensure contracts, scope of work and insurance requirements are satisfied before allowing any work to begin.
