Job summary

Yugo Starkville is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead our on-site maintenance team across residence communities. You will supervise daily operations, manage repairs, safety programs, and vendor relationships to keep buildings in excellent condition and resident spaces welcoming.

With at least 3 years maintenance experience including HVAC, plumbing and electrical, plus a year of supervision, you’ll ensure timely work orders, preventive maintenance, and compliance with OSHA and Fair Housing

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience in residential properties preferred.
• EPA Type II certification required.
• Pool maintenance certification preferred if local regulation requires.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily maintenance operations and safety compliance.
• Lead maintenance team to complete work orders and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Inspect apartments, common areas, and equipment for safety and operation.
• Coordinate maintenance activities and report to property leadership.
• Oversee plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance repairs.
• Maintain vendor relationships and inventory control.
• Develop schedules and monitor labor costs and efficiency.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in on-call.
