Job summary

Yugo USA in Bellingham, WA, seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the on-site team and keep our student housing community in top condition. You will oversee building systems, safety protocols, preventative maintenance, and timely response to resident requests.

Reporting to the Regional Facilities Manager, you will supervise daily operations, coordinate projects, manage vendors, and implement safety programs while ensuring compliance with OSHA and Fair Housing requirements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of maintenance experience with HVAC, plumbing and electrical work.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience in residential or related settings.
• EPA Type II certification required; pool maintenance certification preferred where local regulations call for it.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily maintenance operations for the property, including building systems, grounds, and resident spaces.
• Lead and support the team to complete work orders and preventive maintenance on time and to high standards.
• Inspect apartments, common areas, equipment, and grounds to maintain safety and operations.
