Job summary

Yugo USA, based in Bellingham, WA, is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a on-site maintenance team across multifamily properties. You will supervise daily operations, coordinate preventive tasks, and ensure safety and quality in building systems and common areas.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in maintenance with HVAC/plumbing/electrical experience, plus at least 1 year in supervision. EPA Type II and pool certifications are preferred; strong communication and tech skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years maintenance experience including HVAC, plumbing and electrical.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year supervisory experience in residential properties preferred.
• EPA Type II certification required.
• Pool maintenance certification preferred by local regulation.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work with technology.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily maintenance operations for the property, including building systems, grounds, and resident spaces.
• Lead and support the maintenance team to ensure timely, high-quality completion of work orders and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Conduct regular inspections of apartments, common areas, equipment, and property grounds for safety and operational standards.
• Coordinate maintenance activities and communicate project updates with property leadership.
• Oversee maintenance and repair of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and structural systems.
• Ensure resident service requests are addressed promptly to support a positive experience.
• Manage vendor relationships, contracted services, supply ordering, and inventory control.
