Job summary

Greystar is seeking a maintenance technician to ensure indoor and outdoor community spaces meet high standards of cleanliness, safety, and functionality. You will handle resident requests, diagnose issues, complete repairs, and manage the make-ready process for leasing and move-ins.

This role requires experience in property maintenance, tool proficiency, and strong customer service. Local travel and a flexible schedule may be required to support the community.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or related experience and training.
• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Handle resident work orders and routine maintenance tasks.
• Manage make-ready process for vacant units and coordinate vendors.
• Maintain grounds, exteriors, and common areas to Greystar standards.
• Inspect work and ensure quality; monitor contractors as needed.
• Assist in budgeting for repairs and capital projects.
• Follow safety policies, MSDS sheets, and OSHA requirements.
