Job summary

Redstone seeks a Residential Maintenance Scheduler to plan, coordinate, and optimize daily work for the Residential Maintenance team. You will develop technician schedules to maximize productivity, reduce travel time, and improve resident service across Redstone's residential portfolio.

You will act as the central point for work orders, intake, prioritization, assignment, and backlog management, ensuring responsive communication with residents and coordination with vendors as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience planning and coordinating maintenance or field-service operations.
• Ability to prioritize, assign, and schedule tasks across multiple technicians.
• Proficiency with CRM/CMMS systems and Microsoft 365 tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own daily and weekly scheduling of Residential Maintenance Technicians across portfolio.
• Build and maintain technician schedules using prioritization guidelines.
• Optimize schedules for geographic efficiency and minimized travel time.
• Adjust schedules in real-time for emergencies or changing priorities.
• Serve as primary intake resource for maintenance work orders.
• Review requests for completeness, urgency, and categorization.
• Assign work orders based on priority, skill set, and location.
• Manage backlog and throughput of work orders.
• Notify residents of appointments and changes.
• Coordinate with Resident Services for tenant access and communications.
• Schedule vendor work in coordination with Maintenance Manager.
