Job summary

The RMR Group LLC in Cary, NC is seeking a Maintenance Technician, Residential, to assist the Maintenance Supervisor in keeping the property safe, secure, and comfortable for residents. The role involves performing routine and preventive maintenance and coordinating make-ready repairs as needed.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years in property maintenance, EPA Universal Certification, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of maintenance property management experience.
• EPA Universal Certification required.
• CPO Certification preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• On-call rotation including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Conduct maintenance per company policies and regulations.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliances, lighting, and related systems.
• Coordinate make-ready repairs and assist make-ready staff to meet deadlines.
• Report major repairs and requisitions to Maintenance Supervisor before expenditures.
• Change locks and assist in moving heavy items when needed.
• Respond to priority/emergency situations as required.
