Job summary

Smartland, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Operations Coordinator in Eastlake, OH to act as the communication hub between residents, technicians and property management. You will triage requests, schedule and dispatch vendors, and maintain accurate work order records during a fast-paced, satellite portfolio management role.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance coordination, property management, or hands-on residential maintenance.
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliances.
• Strong organization and multitasking skills.
• Clear, professional communication skills.
• Comfort handling calls, emails, portals, and scheduling systems.
• Detail-oriented with strong follow-through.

Responsibilities

• Receive and triage maintenance requests
• Schedule and dispatch technicians and vendors
• Communicate timely updates to residents
• Maintain accurate work order documentation (notes, photos, timelines)
• Monitor technician workloads and unit turn deadlines
• Partner with Property Managers to improve service efficiency
• Verify vendor performance and support invoice documentation
• Identify recurring issues and recommend process improvements
