Job summary

Brookfield Properties Multifamily LLC in Cliff, NM is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a team responsible for the multi-unit property's upkeep. You will oversee mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, electrical and housekeeping tasks to ensure safe, efficient operations.

Responsibilities include hiring/training staff, coordinating with contractors, reviewing work, and performing preventative maintenance.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of Commercial or multi-unit property maintenance experience.
• Must communicate clearly in English, both verbally and in writing.
• EPA/HVAC certification required.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise mechanical, grounds, interior and exterior maintenance, custodial and housekeeping staff; hire, train, schedule and evaluate performance.
• Repair/maintain mechanical equipment including HVAC systems; diagnose, disassemble, clean and replace parts.
• Perform routine to advanced carpentry duties such as doors, jambs, moldings, hinges and painting.
• Perform routine to advanced electrical duties including lighting, wiring, and power circuits; replace faulty components.
• Perform routine to advanced plumbing tasks including unclogging fixtures and pipe repair.
• Interface with contractors; prepare specifications, obtain bids and negotiate with vendors.
• Perform preventative maintenance and other duties as assigned.
